A1c or HbA1c: test showing the percentage of hemoglobin that has glucose attached

ADA/CDA: American Diabetes Association/Canadian Diabetes Association

BG or BS: blood glucose or blood sugar.
BGL or BSL: blood glucose level or blood sugar level.

BH: better half
OH: other half

BMI: body mass index

BMR: basal metabolic rate

BP: blood pressure

BPC: bullet proof coffee

CDA/ADA: Canadian Diabetes Association/American Diabetes Association

CDE: certified diabetes educator

CGM: continuous glucose monitoring system

CHO or carbs: carbohydrates

CO: coconut oil

CVD: cardiovascular disease
