105 this morning. Our high yesterday was 86° and it is supposed to get to 89° today then in the low 90s for the three days after today.

Surgery yesterday was a bit more than I expected but it did the job. I got some stitches and it is just a bit sore. It is my right ear so I needed to sleep on my left side and I always sleep on my right side but it worked out OK and I have been having problems with my sciatica acting up at night and really interrupting my sleep and last night I had no sciatica pain so maybe I need to see if the left is what I need to do, I know I would get used to it.

6,839 steps yesterday.

More than I thought I'd end up with. I was taking it easy because of my sore back, today it feels pretty good, hopefully up for the long drive. Probably won't have a great number of steps but hopefully I'll come home with good answers to my implant questions so I can make informed decisions when the time comes. All of the implant stuff is far in the future, but at least I'll know if it is even something I'll want to pursue.

124 this morning.

Yesterday's high was 60° and sunny. The rain started lightly late evening. Today's forecast is 57°/37° cloudy with rain showers. Everything is damp outside so no leaf raking for a while.

Well, it was too good to be true to have all the old tax stuff taken away to be burned! I was putting the last 7 years worth of boxes back in the closet and couldn't find 2024's box. Searched all over, then realized it must have gotten mixed up with the old ones. Frantically called my friend to see if they already burned. Nope but had dumped everything out on their burn pile and no way to find this year's stuff. I doubt there is any reason I'd be audited but it is a disconcerting feeling to know I don't have all the info here with me. Oh well....

Oral Surgeon consultation at noon and while I am up in town a couple of shopping stops. I hope to have enough info to make a decision about the implants after this appointment.
