109 this morning. Our high yesterday was 75° so cooler but quite nice except for being pretty windy and the wind is supposed to last through Tuesday so that is not great but we will stay in the 70s so not bad.

I don't know a lot about implants but I don't see how they could cover your palate. That was never mentioned by my dentist that does implants when she gave me an estimate on cost for them but then I didn't really go over all of the details. At least you will have the right questions to ask when you see the oral surgeon. It is best to find out before you have them done than after as they are pretty permanent.

I got my laundry done yesterday and some cleaning up so today is pretty much taking it easy.

Yeah, I think what my dentist was giving me was the low ball version or something "cheaper' I suppose, where they put screws in your jaw at spaced intervals and then have teeth on a plate that "snaps" into them and you snap them out to clean. Sounds like just a step up from dentures. What I have seen, years ago on a neighbor where each tooth was on a post in the jaw and was permanent just like a real tooth. That is what I want, not some snap in, snap out denture. Might as well keep what I have than that!

Google was not much more help so I'll go with the in person consult with the Oral Surgeon.

104 this morning. Our high yesterday was 74° and it is supposed to be the same today but the wind starts now for the next three days and actually started early this morning. I'm not a fan of the wind but the temps are going to be nice so there is that.

I am not aware of the type that is what you described that snaps in but it does sound like pretty much like the dentures that you have. Especially if you have to take them out to clean them. The implants I am familiar with are just like what your neighbor had where each tooth is on a post and it is permanent. It is expensive but it is just like your real teeth. I am sure you will get a lot better information from the oral surgeon.

50° was the high yesterday. Today's forecast is 54°/35° mostly cloudy, but riight now the sun is shining. But I do see dark clouds to the West towards Idaho.

Yesterday an old friend from CA called out of the blue. "Is this Barbara Bxxx?" she kept asking when I said hello. She kept trying to verify saying from Arnold CA? etc. I couldn't get a word in at all. Finally I said "Yes, it's me, Mary Sxxxx!" She stopped and asked "Did my name go across your screen?" It was almost comical! She just had to be sure it was really me. (We haven't talked in many years.) We were neighbors in Arnold and friends for a long time. Her husband passed 2 years before I moved so we had that in common too. Then she moved to Turlock in the valley, and I moved to MT. And as often happens when one moves far away, we gradually stopped communicating.  We picked up right away where we left off and turns out our lives have been very similar. It was a nice long phone visit and I'm sure we will talk again more. Put me in a very good mood for the rest of the day!

So yesterday was a good day! Sun was out mostly and I did some tidying in the kitty house. the a bird somehow got in and I had to get it out before the cats went nuts trying to get it. What a ruckus! Opened the big door which scared the cats out and then the bird flew out. Don't know how it got in in the first place...a mystery.

Only thing on agenda today is to gather the garbage for pick up tomorrow. Haven't heard a word from the crystal lady since she missed last week. Should she message me for tomorrow, I'm not available!!

Yesterday's high was 52°. Today's forecast looks much like yesterday's temperature-wise at 54°/34° but there is also some freezing rain in the morning today and some rain/snow late night. It is 8:39AM, dark sky, gloomy and lightly raining right now.

Well, March came in like a lamb and it looks like it is going out about the same way! Not that I am complaining at all!!

Taking the garbage up the road is about all that is on the agenda. I wish H$R Block would call re my taxes, I'm kind of worried I am going to owe some money this year.

87 this morning. Our high yesterday was 74° again and it should be close to that today and windy again. The wind blew pretty hard all night and it is going to keep it up today and tomorrow. They are seeing a bit of rain in Los Angeles and surrounding areas but not a lot. Here we just get the wind. They are expecting snow in the Sierras though and maybe up to two feet so that is good.

Not much on my schedule for today but looking around I do see a lot of things I could get done so I guess I will get some of it done.

101 this morning. Our high yesterday was 71° and it is supposed to be a bit cooler at 64° today and the wind will be here for another day. Tomorrow the wind is supposed to be out of here and it should start to warm up and we should be back into the 80s in a few days.

I am a bit earlier than usual today as I have an appointment for my annual eye check up so I have to get going.

86 this morning. My lowest fasting in quite a while!

Nothing particular on agenda for today, so I guess I'll tackle the desk in my office that has become a catch all for everything/anything I didn't have another place for.

101 this morning.

46° was the high yesterday. Today's forecast is 48°/30° cloudy with slight chance of snow showers in the morning. The weather is supposed to be improving after tomorrow.

Cleared my desk off yesterday, I see wood now!! The bottom pieces of paper were dated in the 2014's! Things I didn't know quite where to file so put there "for later". Now filed in the cylindrical file!  Nice to see a clean desk when I walk in the room!

Today I think I will continue in the office. I have three 2 drawer file cabinets that can definitely be emptied of all business receipts and related things. So much "stuff" that once was important to keep, but now, not so much. I'm on a roll so will keep going until something else more "important" comes up.

90 this morning. Our high yesterday was 64° and it is supposed to be 62° today and then we will start to warm up and be in the high 70s and low 80s by the weekend. The wind is out of here now and that is a good thing as I am not a fan of the wind and it blows a lot of dust in the air and kicks my allergies up. I already feel better.

My appointment with the eye doctor went well and while I only had a small change in my vision I went ahead and got new glasses as the ones I have been using are a couple of years old and I have vision insurance that covered most of the cost of new ones. It is kind of a use it or lose it thing.

I have been doing the same thing Barbara. For some reason I feel the need to print out everything and it goes in the file cabinet or in a pile and I have to go through everything and either shred it or toss it. I don't know why I feel the need to print out a hard copy of many things, just want proof that I have a copy if anything came up but if that happened there is a record that is available on the website that I could get if I needed it. I guess that I am just old fashioned.

Yesterday's high was 46°. Today is going to be about the same, 48°/30° cloudy with a chance of a few showers. Then we are going to warm up into the 50's tomorrow and then a few days of 60's. Right now the sun is trying to peep out which is really. niice!

Taxes are officially filed and accepted by Feds and State. Nothing owed. Phew!

Today my plan is to continue on the clearing out stuff in the office. I may even tackle one of the file cabinets!

88 this morning. Our high yesterday was 64° again and it is supposed to be 66° today so pretty much the same but it will be warming up for the next few days and should get into the 80s by the weekend.

Yeah, I am doing the same thing Barbara and making headway but still more to do so I need to keep it up.
