I have always been fascinated by the Saree as they are such beautiful, vibrant colors.  Once when I was a child, my Mother invited an Indian couple to our home for a meal.  The lady wore the most beautiful saree with the color gold as a main color.  I had never seen such a beautiful piece of cloth in my life.

Happy Independence Day!

When I was in India in 2000, we participated in a ceremony where we all dressed in traditional clothing. I bought the most beautiful sapphire blue Saree (I still have it) but can't for the life of me remember how to get it on correctly!! The ladies at the home we were staying kindly dressed us all!
