Hunger and Appetite

I would have to say that I do indeed fit the classification of obesity.  I found your article on hunger and appetite impressive.  As far as LCHF way of eating, I've found it to be successful for me however very easy in today's western world - to fall off the wagon so to speak.  For me, all it takes is once indulging in something made with wheat and I'm done with keto.  I need to be more determined to stay with the program.  I find myself deeply disappointed because I have made mistakes in choosing the right foods.  I know better, but the spirit is willing and the flesh is weak.

With Type 1, things become a little bit more complicated, so far as weight management is concerned. Injected insulin starts to play a big role. Insulin is the key fat storage and regulatory hormone in the body. Since they can eat badly and cover with a 'little bit extra' insulin, heavier T1s find it difficult to drop weight. Good weight loss will almost always be accompanied with lower insulin requirements. Bernstein's Law of Small Numbers comes into play.

Ajit,

I can tell you my own experience that I have lost a lot of my weight by eating better carbs if not low carb. We are also mostly vegetarian so I don't cook non veg all the time.
