new to the forum... erm not to diabetes though

Hey, thanks for letting me be a part of this online community.  I've been a type 2 diabetic since 2004 I believe, most of it stemmed from taking Zyprexa and Seroquel, a couple of psyche meds.  Since then it's gotten so out of control because I've been on some type of psyche med for 18 years, and they love to cause diabetes and insulin resistance.  They don't like beta cells...  Anyway, last month I got to a point where diet, exercise, 3 injections and 1 oral med wasn't working.  I was gaining weight (325 lb) and my A1C was 8.4.  So since then I am combining some great natural substances to help control the sugars.  I'll post those in another location in the forum.

Anyway, last month I got to a point where diet, exercise, 3 injections and 1 oral med wasn't working.

We'd love to hear more. What diet are you on ? and what is your exercise regime ?
