phooy!  To me nagging is not the caring in diabetes.  If I had to put up with this from a spouse, I would be out of here, gone, bye bye for real.  I don't care what the study proclaims, I don't believe it works and I think there is a lot of bias in this study.  What husband is going to put up listening to a wife that knows how to push all the right buttons and really make life suck.

It makes me wonder what kind of marriage experience the author of the article has had?

My life is based on a true story.

Mine either . . . although my first marriage caused elevated blood pressure (it dropped dramatically in the weeks following my leaving him), I'm quite sure it didn't raise my blood sugar levels.  ;)

Ironically, that makes me a guilty party because AJ and I aren't married, and I keep him happy. Very happy. But, I don't believe a word of this.

So most of the men who get diabetes must then be happily married?  LOL - like the rest of you, I'm not buying the "results" of this study.

This is mere speculation. According to the study, my husband should have been the diabetic. While it's me who has to keep BG under a strict watch.
