I told my dear college friend this and sent her some information from MD Anderson after she told me she just couldn't go to the grocery store without buying some of their sweet concoctions and she had both diabetes and lung cancer and she laughed at me and is now dead.  It made sense to me and still does.  Thanks for the video as I have another really good friend who will have a better result I hope.

Mankind has known this since 1925. Otto Warburg received a Nobel for what is known as The Warburg effect. In simpler terms how cancer cells thrive on cancer. Funny part is, oncologists even today, rubbish the sugar and cancer relationship as a myth. Whereas, the very test for cancer growth (PET scan) uses glucose as a medium to track the growth of the cancer.

It takes a while to develop a taste, but try Lindt 90% cacoa.  I eat a square at a time and it totally satisfies the chocolate craving.  It is an ongoing process.  You have to readjust your pallet to the things that are healthy for a diabetic.  But rest assured it does happen!

Bigskygal is right, Rocky . . . it's sort of an acquired taste, but the Lindt chocolates are wonderful & it doesn't take long to get adapted!
