Sorry, I cannot offer help on pizza crust, to high in carb!  But, when I started I had cravings like that and ask folks on the forum to help with that!  The universal answer was take more fat!   If you do not balance the drop in carbs with increase in fats, you will have cravings....

I tried that and increased my fat intake substantially, and within 2-3 days the cravings left and have never came back...!  For the first time in my life I realized that my cravings for carbs was not in my head!  It was in my bodies chemistry and how you get cravings.....

That changed my life!

Ami,

I learnt of the site dietdoctor.com from this forum itself. They have a recipe, may be you could have a look.

I use this for pizza and it really works quite well.  I use low carb tomato sauce and a variety of toppings and it is quite yummy.

When I first started LCHF, I also missed having pizza.  Someone recommended that I just scrape off the pizza toppings and eat those, leaving the crust behind.  I did try that and while it didn't look pretty on the plate, the flavor was satisfying.  Maybe your son could try that option?

I don't do that anymore because now, it causes diarrhea. Strange, as I eat cheese otherwise with no ill effect.  As time has passed, I don't crave pizza anymore.

I don't know how I missed this thread!!  That pizza recipe looks yummy and as I scrolled down the page  there is a really good looking low carb bread recipe too.

I have a question on the bread recipe.  It calls for ground psyllium husk powder, I have ground psyllium seed powder.  Will that work?

so i finally tried this pizza crust, it was nice and chewy ...........
1 cup shredded cauliflower, dried up in a pan , got rid of all the moisture........and cooled down
1 egg
1 cup shredded mozzarella and cheddar cheese mix
dash of salt
oregano powder and garlic powder
2 table spoon of Psyllium husk

mix all of this , and grease the pan ,and spread it into a think layer ...........bake for 15 to 20 minutes ,i turned it around and baked for 3 to 4 minutes ,,,,,,,,,,,,,it was nice and red and well cooked...............added the toppings with more cheese .......
