Stevia induces insulin secretion

Scientists have determined that sweeteners in Stevia actually induce insulin secretion from the beta cells in mice. Hope this works for humans as well.

Interesting article but I am curious what effect it has on, not just humans, but diabetic humans.  Further research will probably go in that direction.
