Here is an innovation which sounds like a good idea at first glance. Though I wonder if one could retain concentration on the work at hand while pedalling. Multi-tasking works in a toggle mode but to be able to do two things simultaneously is tough.

I don't think that pedaling would have that much interference with the thought process and doing work probably would not be too difficult.  If that is true then this would be a way to introduce activity into a sedentary activity which could be a good thing.  I wonder though how long it would take for it to become not too attractive and I think about all of the stationary bicycles sitting alone being used as a clothes rack or in storage that were only used for a little while.
