Reversing Baldness

QuoteBased on devices that gather energy from a body's day-to-day motion, the hair-growth technology stimulates the skin with gentle, low-frequency electric pulses, which coax dormant follicles to reactivate hair production.

The devices don't cause hair follicles to sprout anew in smooth skin. Instead they reactivate hair-producing structures that have gone dormant. That means they could be used as an intervention for people in the early stages of pattern baldness, but they wouldn't bestow cascading tresses to someone who has been as bald as a billiard ball for several years.

I'm not sure how this compares to the baseball caps I see advertised that are full of LEDs and claim to cure baldness.  I always have thought that they were a con game and are selling for $2000 and up.

There is a picture of the small device in the article link that I posted. This has to be worn under the baseball cap to keep it in place. I don't think it is the same thing that you are talking about, though I could be wrong as I don't know about the baseball caps that you talk about.

Yeah, I saw the picture of the device in that article and they are different.  I don't know if the principle is the same or not.  The cap I was refering to is this :
https://www.capillus.com/capillus-laser-caps
These are selling for $1000 to $3000 US and I really wonder how successful they are.  I think the device in your article is different and it is part of a study that may show it to be successful.

This appears to be a con game like you say, but then the site says something like this which resonates with what is mentioned in the Study as well.

QuoteCapillus laser therapy caps use safe, low level lasers to energize hair follicles and spur new, natural hair growth. Now featuring our new, patent-pending, flexible fit, nothing tops the Capillus cap in convenience and comfort. Use the hat provided or tuck it underneath a sports cap and wear it for six minutes every day. Laser therapy stimulates and energizes the cells within the hair follicle renewing the hair follicle for thicker, healthier hair.
