Hi Kathy,

That is not what is supposed to happen. I think (from what you describe) that when you have replied to a post, you are at the very bottom of the page and therefore you cannot see the Right Panel which is in the top section. I am attaching a screenshot of a forum post divided into 2 rectangular parts. The left one is what are the Poster details, and the Right one is the post itself. Just below the left rectangle you will see a button which says "Go Up". Once you are done posting and click that button below your reply, it will take you to the top of the page and you should see the Right Panel again.

In the Post section (Right Rectangle) you will see the "Reply Number" in the top right corner. If you see my reply No. 27 in this thread, I have kept a picture of the Recent Posts Block in the right Panel. I also suggest that you see the 3 Site Navigation threads. Links to these are placed under the "Forum Links" block in the Right Panel.

Not really a bug but when I was not able to bring up the Diabetic Pub web page yesterday I tried doing a google search and if you just put in "diabetic forums" the Diabetic Pub does not come up at all.  I wonder how people find this forum ?  Also if you put in diabetic pub in the search box it comes up but the link goes to a "page not found".  I tried using Microsoft Edge and Chrome and got the same results.  Maybe we would get more members if it was easier to find our site.  I don't know how to do this though.

I had that happen to Wally. I finally got in using my History list. Maybe that is why Shottlebop is MIA?

That is surprising because I was online the whole day yesterday and the forum was accessible to me. The only thing I worked on, was not a bug, but a settings problem. It had to do with the top level Search box that was not working (on our site). And while that was being done, the site might have been inaccessible momentarily.

Google lists the sites based on content and activity. Sadly, we score poorly on both counts. There were 4 keyword searches that I routinely did and kept a track of the results for sometime. These are "Diabetes Forum/s and Diabetic Forum/s". The results put us anywhere from Page 2 to 5 depending on the Search terms, and even the location of the searcher. I bought a Site Link program from a SEO company but since it didn't make any difference to our number of visitors or enrolments, I discontinued after 3 months. There is nothing we can do about forums that have been in existence for decades and have collected posts and members running into the millions. But, even they are suffering the trend shift to social media sites.

The idea of a You Tube channel is also an attempt to improve the chances of our being found, out there in the big world of internet. Whether it will work or not, I don't know, but we are trying. Adding Articles would be another way. If any of you want to contribute with one, that would be very helpful.

I figured that was how Google worked.  I did a search again and found Diabetic Pub on the 9th page.  That link worked just fine.  The strange thing is that if I put diabetic pub in the search box it came up but the link went to a page not found and that was using Microsoft Edge and also chrome.

Well, that is weird. My late DH always said he was a year older on 1/1 despite the fact his birthday was Mar 12,. He was Hungarian...maybe a European thing? Where is the forum home located?

The server is located in Austin, Texas. This was a bug reported for the s/w across all forums. By saying it has been logged, I mean that the Dev team has acknowledged that it is an error that needs to be fixed and they will do it in the next release.
