I woke up to an error which said something like that I could login only over HTTPS and basically the Forum was inaccessible.

We have been using a SSL Certificate for years now, and lately our Hosting Service has started to provide it free. They take care of all the renewals and all that and basically the process should work smoothly. Only this time it didn't. When I checked our SSL Certificate it shows that it has been recently renewed and will expire on June 6th. So obviously the Hosts have done some screw up at their end and now no one knows what went wrong and what is to be done.

So what I've done (for the time being) is disabled the Force SSL condition while I work on the problem. What that means is that the site will work over HTTP and not necessarily HTTPS and therefore the words "Not Secure" will show in your address bar with a small red cation sign.

Please ignore that and continue to log in and post on the forum. I will let you know as soon as I have a solution to the problem.

OK. The host has fixed the problem, though I still do not know what went wrong. Still investigating.

So we're back as Secure with the SSL.

I tried to access the forum last night and got the error message so I figured it was something like that.  Glad to see it is back to normal.
