YouTube Channel

In the lockdown I've been keeping myself busy trying to learn new things, software in particular. I teamed up with my daughter (who is a psychologist) and my wife Ami (who handles all our Diet/recipes) to start building a new website devoted to Dietary, Metabolic and Mental aspects of Health. I'm still toying with Site Development ideas and that is going to take some time. The domain name is already booked and it is called http://www.thehealthyweigh.in/

Meanwhile I was asked to start a YouTube Channel for the site and upload videos there. The Channel is active and is called HEALTHY WEIGH. I've put up a few videos there. So the next step was to buy a Video Editor s/w and start to learn the ropes, which I have started on. Give me a couple of days and I'll be up and running with lots of magical stuff. Meanwhile some videos (consider them trials) are uploaded.

Some time ago Tamagno and I had made a couple of videos for The Diabetic Pub. naturally, I took his consent, edited his video (a bit) and uploaded it to the new site, while giving credit to this forum. (diabetesforum.online). I'm embedding the video in the next post, with a request to all to see it, Like it, Share it and Subscribe to our Channel. For this you may need to watch the video on YouTube. There's a button for that in the bottom right of the video if you hover there.

I listened to John's talk and especially enjoyed knowing the fact that carbohydrates and insulin affect each of us differently.  I wish I had heard this information when first diagnosed.  My family doctor told me I could eat anything I wanted as long as I covered it with insulin.  Nothing could be further from the truth.  Good job with the video and I look forward to watching more videos.
