Stickers that give ultrasound images

In a paper appearing today in Science, the engineers present the design for a new ultrasound sticker — a stamp-sized device that sticks to skin and can provide continuous ultrasound imaging of internal organs for 48 hours.

As a person that has had more ultrasounds than I can even count, this sounds like a great advancement. Especially as it gets harder and harde for me to get to the hospital for procedures. I know it won't come in my lifetime, but I can see how it could really help others. Hope they can get it all worked  out.
