Rhodiola is in my plethora of natural "remedies".  I'm a newbie here, so I'll probably get blasted for my lengthy list of natural remedies for type 2 diabetes.  But I use them really carefully, not to overdo any specific vitamin or mineral.  There's a lot of them, but it's also working at controlling my sugars and insulin resistance.  Note I've done blood tests on vitamins and some of these I am simply deficient in.  The only one that doesn't support blood sugar control is the omega-3's, but this is my entire supplement list anyway.

  • Diabetic Multi-vitamin
  • Rhodiola
  • Omega-3's
  • L-Lysine
  • Inositol
  • cinnamon extract
  • berberine
  • bitter melon extract
  • turmeric
  • calcium
  • vit D3
  • Metamucil
  • Black Seed Oil

I also take Victoza, Tresiba and Novolog.  And I am getting off of Actos because I think it's a bad drug.

You won't get blasted by me.  If you believe something is working for you then good.  As long as it is not something that is going to be dangerous or cause a problem.  Some of the things you are taking I am also taking.  Metamucil in it's powdered form I can't take but I found Psyllium Husk (that is what Metamucil is) in capsule form that is easy to take and it was recommended by my Gastroenterologist.
As far as controlling my blood sugar I have been pretty successful by controlling my diet and restricting carbs.
Type 2 since 1993.  Control with LCHF diet.
