Recent Site Issues

Hi,

It turns out that the recent site issues were caused by 'disk space' issues at the server end. I checked to find our public_html folder (where the website resides) completely full. Subsequently, this also started generating a lot of errors at the site. Per force I had to delete some files to make space and some of our older attachments have been deleted. Some of the important ones would need to be restored and I'll do that once I find some time. Otherwise, site wise we are restored to a few days ago levels and things are working fine.

I would imagine the Quote for the Day folder takes up a lot of space. Maybe delete past years or very old ones? Just a thought, maybe just keep a year's worth at a time?

Today I saw the site in the same way that we did a couple of days before. But that was due to a temporary internet loss. I panicked for a bit.

Yikes! I just realized I have gotten out of the habit of using the tracker! It has been so long since I logged there. Need to get back to using it!

That gives us an increased post count as well. Each Bg Tracker entry is counted as a post. If you have your older readings you can make an entry for any date, even past ones.
