Diabetes quadruples in 25 years

Our news fader on the top said "Worldwide there are 387 million diabetics". As per the study linked below that figure stands corrected to 422 million. And that was in 2014. What are the numbers today. Going by trends, we could easily add another 40 million to that figure for this year.

I think this should read Number of Cases of Diabetes Diagnosed......

As I believe many diseases are being diagnosed more often than they used to be....my Dad who I lost in 2005, I believed, was an undiagnosed diabetic, which overtime contributed to his death, his mother and father both died young.    Both my older sister and myself are diabetics since we turned 50.....our Mom nor were any of her family diabetic.
