Hi & Welcome,

Please feel at home and start chatting away. We may know you with differing names, but in times to come, I hope these names will stay and the old ones will just fade away.

:) hi everyone, brief delay while waiting for activation email.  So glad to see this forum.  I won't post much today as I am home sick with a miserable cold, ugh! My BG numbers have been ranging from 95 to 120, so I need to cut a few more carbs.  More concerned about my BP readings.  They had gone down after starting LCHF, but now are higher than before. 156/86 this morning.  Will have to discuss with my doc.

Anyway, thank you for this forum and the warm welcome.

Shanny

So many of my ailments have been remedied by LCHF, and it has helped my blood pressure, but I do still have to take my atenolol as well, to keep it really nice & stable. And mine does the same as yours, Rhiannon . . . my systolic is the one that wants to be higher.

Get well quickly, girl . . . these spring colds are awful! ♥ ♥ ♥

Hi, all!  I'm glad to move in a new place and see everyone here.  I have a comment or so about BP as I've just arrived home after being checked 3 times a day for almost 3 months...mine jumped around a bit during that time and perhaps I learned something about it.  I want to get my record to take to the cardiologist.  I do have labile BP for sure.  But, I did learn that infection (or a cold) would run it up just as the way my BS reflects an infection.  Perhaps that is true of yours too?

In any case, I'm thrilled to be here!
