Hi comedian and welcome to the "pub".  I have been T2 diabetic since 1993 and always followed my Dr.'s advice and used meds to try and control my D.  Turned to LCHF three years ago and was able to quit meds and drop my A1c from 7.7% to 4.4% so I also am thrilled with the results.  Look forward to hearing from you.

Hi Comedian and welcome.  Sounds like you are doing great in controlling your diabetes.  I was diagnosed approx 2 years ago as Type 2.  Like you, I was given some nutritional advice and suggested menu plan for diabetics that included whole grains, fruits, and dairy items.  If I had followed that plan, I am certain my numbers would not have improved much.  Instead, I did some online searching and learned about LCHF.  Glad you have joined us
