Altering insulin improves efficiency

Recently, Swiss, US and Australian scientists discovered that they could alter the molecular structure of insulin and improve its efficiency & reception at the cellular level. They achieved this by replacing one hydrogen atom with that of iodine. Needless to say, that this opens new doors of future diabetes treatments. Read the story here.
