Gosh, I think that is going to be a tough one.  Obviously the father has an obligation to take care of his son but proving negligence may be hard.   
Type 2 since 1993.  Control with LCHF diet.

Yeah, I agree Wally. Plus a 15 yo has to take some responsibility for his own care.

Agreed. I wonder what would be the legal provision in India for such a thing.

Quite right. A 15 year old is not really a kid especially where his own health is concerned.
