Another app I use frequently is Flashlight. It isn't diabetes related but very helpful.  I have weird electrical wiring in my home and use it to get to the bedroom at night.  In the winter often have power outages and this helps me find the candles.  This app is also good for finding small things dropped.

I use Flashlight at times too. I think now it's inbuilt into the iPhone. Apple also has a built in app called Health where you can feed in all your data and monitor your progress (or not). I think at last count there were more than 1/2 a million apps, and counting. Making an app is now a drag & drop matter with many app maker software on the market. I've made an app for my State's Rifle Association, for both android & iPhone.

Heart rate monitor is a part of Argus, which contains other features as well. Downloaded it today. Thanks.

Another app that I use a lot when traveling is known as Elevate.
It's basically a game app that gives different types of exercises for mental skills development. The free version will allow only 3 sets of exercises per day. The pro (paid) version will enable everything.

I tested the Argus app step / distance counter with my treadmill. For 1 km On the TM I got 1.04 on the app.
But when I walk on roads, it gives me about -15% error when checking with Google Earth.
