We have installed a new package which will ensure that any Form/Post typed on the Forum will not be lost if the open browser tab crashes or is closed accidentally or there is a sudden power outage. The forum now has a script installed that will keep the content in storage and recover the same in such a case.

Tested from here

To test the script the PC was deliberately switched off with the above typed content. After logging in again, I opened the Feedback & Help Board and clicked on New Topic and found the above content intact. No more frustration over lost content.  ;D

Great job Sam. Thanks.

But I think there is a problem. When I click the reply button to post, my previous reply comes up in the memory. I don't know if others are having the same problem. But, please look into this.

Thanks for pointing this out rocky. We'll check this.

ETA : I tested, but could not replicate the problem you encountered. Let's wait to see if others report the problem as well.

Rocky,

This has been a known issue with the package. It was also experienced by me when I tried it on different browsers & machines. A modified version is now installed and the problem should not be encountered any more. If you do, please do let us know.
