I totally agree with him and I'd go a step or two further . . . LCHF is good for everything, and I'd start with the diabetes aspect. When I first got started on this, I soon decided everybody should be eating this way!  ;D  There's no downside! Fats are the perfect energy food and moderate protein for maintaining & rebuilding cells. Carbs are NOT essential nutrients, so there's just no downside.

P.S. I have a bag of brazil nuts and another bag of pumpkin seeds right here beside my chair as I'm typing this! <3

I quite agree. And, there are so many other doctors who vouch for this WoE. He is not the first nor the last. He should have gone deeper in explaining how the mutated cancerous cells metabolise glucose for proliferation. It's known as the Warburg effect and has been known since 1925. The funny thing is, almost every Oncologist will just rubbish it outright.

Is it the money or a lack of knowledge. Both I guess.
Today, every industry invests heavily in knowledge up-gradation. I doubt that they don't know.
My life is based on a true story.

It is interesting to see a quote by Warburg :
Warburg framed a quote from Max Planck and hung it above his desk: "A new scientific truth does not triumph by convincing its opponents and making them see the light, but rather because its opponents eventually die."
And we see a lot of this in medicine.  There is a resistance to any change because no one will admit that they may have been wrong.  Just look at the attitude about fat and what damage the ignorance has done to the world.
Richard Feinman is another researcher that advocates LCHF and believes that a ketogenic diet may be a weapon against cancer.  I read his blog from time to time and find a lot of information there.

He is also of the opinion that it is the unfortunate truth that in a lot of these cases you just have to let the existing people who are unwilling to accept any change to die out and let the new people who are more willing to look at reality for change to happen.

I really believe that my cancer was contained and removed at an early stage because I had been ketogenic for over a year before it was found. My Oncologist is a firm advocate of the lc/hf keto way of eating. My hospital actually has a keto meal choice on the menu selection which is very unusual.
