Ad Choices, or whatever it's called

I really dislike the thread that preaches to us what we should be eating. If this were a newbie board, I might be more accepting, but we are veteran low-carbers, and if there were a way I could turn off that particular board, I'd do it in a blink. Got any ideas?

'Course I'm not taken with the big shout-out box at the top either . . . I guess these are nice for newbies, but I find them annoying.

We don't use shout boxes. Are you talking about the blue coloured drop down box that asks Guests to register ?
If you could attach screenshots, that would help.

This never shows up on the site for me, Shanny. Could be I only come here on my iPad, or Safari browser but I've never seen it.

Shanny - I never see this ad either.  I use Firefox browser on a desktop (if that makes any difference).

Shanny, it is an Ad.  It is there because this is a forum about Diabetes and AdChoices tries to put up ads that they think are relevant.  It will put up ads about Diabetes or also anything you have searched for or bought on the internet.  The forum has no control over what ads are posted.  Your choices are to just ignore it or turn your ad blocker back on.  I just ignore the ads.

Yeah, Shanny I've seen the ads on the top of the page, I just ignore them. I use chrome on a laptop...

Yes that is an ad. Although I've enabled that they appear just below the Linktree Menu, they do not appear there, either on my iPad or my Laptop. I see ads only in the Right Panel. Yesterday I was searching for a Haversack type of sling bag, so this is what I see today.

Probably shouldn't say this out loud, but like I suspect many, I guess I don't even see these things anymore...
