Sugar & Cancer

Gary Taubes has repeatedly written that there is a direct associative link between sugar (consumption) and cancer and the monumental efforts the sugar industry has put in to cover up the links. I found an article which is corroborative of what he says. You might find it an interesting read too.

Both are indeed interesting, SKB.

Also of interest is the note in the first abstract regarding the normal diet fed the mice.

One of the earlier precepts of particularly medieval European diets was that diet directly effected health and my understanding is that various particular foods were specifically prescribed for various ailments. A concept with some value.

These studies always make me wonder what one should do in response...
