Hi rosyblue, welcome to the forum!

Can you give us a little more information about how and when you were diagnosed. What were your numbers, did your dr give you any meds? This info can help us help you.

Most of us here follow a low carb/high fat way of eating. The carbs are what raise our blood sugar so the less we eat, the less the rise. A really good resource to learn how to begin to take control of your blood sugar is a site called Blood Sugar 101  http://www.phlaunt.com/diabetes/  For most of us here, that was the first resource for info on how to control our diabetes.

Please ask any and all questions you may have, we are a worldwide group so there is usually always someone around here to help you.

Thank you so much.
I saw the Blood Sugar site but I guess that it requires a lot of time to read and understand. I will look more into it.
