20+ years ago, I had eyeliner tattooed on. Hurt like heck! It was cool for a while, but didn't last long because the eye lid is so fatty the tats just disappear in time.

My DD has lots of tats, but no way would I do it!!

My DIL has lots of tats too, but me or my kids - none.

I never had a tat.  Just never saw the need. 
Type 2 since 1993.  Control with LCHF diet.

Why they're so popular I'll never understand. Among other things, they inevitably fade quickly and look lousy.
