Thought I'd wander into the Pub

Was a participant on a few other sites and left after each one moved in sort of uncomfortable directions.  I got a little nostalgic the other day and looked for Shanny on one of them, only to find that she'd left the building    Glad to have found the Pub.

So...I'm a T1 (diagnosed in 2007 just shy of my 53rd birthday).  Still going strong these 11 years later.

We're glad too, that you found The Diabetic Pub. Welcome aboard.

The Pub has been around for 2 years now and most of our regulars are old Forum hands. We built our own little space and migrated here when things became "uncomfortable" at our last abode.

We'd love to hear more from you, so chat away & let's get to know one another, all over again.

Very happy to see you here, Jen. Some of us have had similar experiences with other online forums, which is sorta why we finally found ourselves here, building a peaceful & quiet place of our own. We'd be so glad to have you join us on a regular basis!

Managing diabetes is serious business, and having other diabetics nearby to deliberate with can make all the difference in the world.
