107 this morning, 104 at bedtime last night.

82° was the high yesterday. 79° right now forecast says 92° but doubt it will get there. Mid 80's maybe.

Grammabear, only time will tell if the peppers work. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Judging by what I hear and see, there's a pretty big push for eating vegan. The reasons are all over the place, and not many are talking about just how "vegan" one should be, but it'd be cheaper in some ways. Personally, I don't think it's healthy.

I got a rolling stool from Amazon that arrived yesterday that I'm pleased with so far. The idea is to help save the compression fracture in my back and help get it healed. Certainly, it saves some wear when I cook.

Tamagno - Do let us know how the rolling stool works?  It sounds like a great idea.  Did you have to assemble it after you received it?

Weather here is 69 deg F but humidity is 96% so guess I won't be walking outside today.  :(

105 this morning.  It looks like today will be the hottest of the week and may get to 107° but probably more like 105° but that's pretty much the same.
Personally I don't think that vegan is worthwhile or necessary but people have their reasons but I would not care for it.

Snap Wally! 105 here this morning too. 105 at bedtime last night.

High yesterday was 80°. I don't know where the weather aps are measuring my temperature, but they are way off from what my thermometer here says. It is 82° right now with forecasted temp of 94°, don't think that will happen here though.

Good idea Tamagno! Hope your stool helps your back heal.

High this morning (sensor failure).

I'm liking the rolling stool quite a bit, though there's something of a learning curve; you quickly discover that cooking involves a great deal of jumping around unless you're very, very organized. The stool itself takes a bit of assembly that's easy and requires no tools. It's surprising how many different ones are out there; probably the big thing was finding one that is high enough to be comfortable at the kitchen counter. The other is finding one with decent casters - for me, my wife's penchant for throw rugs presents several obstacles. Still, I'm finding it really saves my lower back making it possible to get much more done. I bought a set of "after-market" casters that are like roller blade wheels which are larger in diameter and should roll better than stock (those arrive today, so I'll soon see if they help).

74 this morning (and not liking this low)

John - Your stool sounds like a winning idea once you get everything in place.  I have a stationary bar stool and wish it was a rolling stool in the kitchen.  Still it is better than standing all the time.

104 this morning.  We got to 104° yesterday and it looks like that will be about the norm for the rest of the month.  It will probably cool down a bit in September and that is also when we can get higher humidity if tropical storms come North from Mexico which happens often.  It's not unusual to have thunder storms in September.
I guess it depends on your perspective but I don't consider 74 low but I can see where it would be a problem when treating with insulin.
Tamagno, I got a "rolling stool" that came with a back on Amazon to use as a chair for my desk when I was having so much of a problem with my knees.  It was the only chair I could find that came up high enough so it was easy for me to get up from it.  I have had it for about 2 years now and like it a lot.

113 this morning, 114 at bedtime last night.

82° was the high yesterday. Woke up to wet ground, rain in  the night, some predicted for this afternoon, but I will be in the air heading to CA at that time!  :)  Leaving in just over an hour.

255 this morning.

Have a great trip, BigSkyGal!

Should be a really nice weather day today with highs in the mid-70s and clear. A perfect day for grilling - maybe some pork ribs. No Traeger here Wally, but I'll soak some applewood chunks in water to put on the coals that'll give them a nice, smoky flavor.

103 this morning.  Weather here is pretty consistent right now.  We got to 102° yesterday and I can deal with that. It is a nice 72° right now at 6:30 AM, a nice time to be outside.
Off this morning for an appointment with my dermatologist for a follow up.
Tamagno, that works,  enjoy !

121 this warm morning. It is a lot warmer here than at home. Kind of sorry I didn't bring shorts! Great visit so far. Everyone is getting together Saturday for bbq.

166 this morning.

I changed my insertion set yesterday morning and was once again reminded of how different each particular site is; this time is good, and I quickly found myself getting much better insulin delivery. The result was something of a roller coaster for much of the day, however. I feel as though I've eaten enough sweets to last me a very long time...

84 this morning.  Yesterday was just like the day before and it looks like it will be the same today.
I have a rather difficult job to attempt today.  The drivers side door on my Honda Civic is stuck shut because the latch mechanism is broken.  Getting the door open to change the latch assembly is going to be difficult for sure but I saw a couple of videos on YouTube that show that it is possible.  It's amazing what you can find on YouTube.
