103 this morning.

Yesterday I made the bacon and egg muffin recipe and surprisingly it turned out pretty good.  I had it for my breakfast this morning along with a single serve cup of grapefruit pieces.  I like the recipe and will definitely be making it again when I get to the store for another pkg of bacon.  I think the parmesan cheese idea sounds great too Tamagno.

We have another winter storm coming........again!!  :(

81 this morning.  A little cool this morning at 31° but warming up to around the low 50s later.  Tomorrow we may get some rain/snow or not.  Different weather services disagree so the chance is from 10% to 50% but it will surely be windy.

140 this morning.

Much warmer here today rising to near 50 this afternoon. My wife says she's heard birds in the morning which is always a good sign of approaching spring. (I suspect they've jumped the gun, judging by forecasts.)

I need to grocery shop this morning, so figure I'll try to get out early and get everything done well before lunch time. Otherwise looking forward to a quiet and peaceful day...

Tamagno ~ Your birds might have jumped the gun by singing early, but they have lots of company.  Our birds are also singing bright and early in the morning, especially on the sunny days.

I have a foot dr appt and a hearing aid appt both in the same building but one hour apart.  I just hope I get out of there before the "rush hour" at 5 p.m.

83 this morning.  They are seeing snow to the West and South of here but we are dry and not that cold at 34°.  Don't expect any moisture for the rest of the month.
I am going to make the egg/muffin thing today.  I figure about 1 1/2 egg per muffin and add different things from time to time.  Today with the eggs I am adding cheddar cheese, ham, bell pepper and onion.  I'll make 6 "muffins" and have a quick and easy breakfast a few days.

133 this blue sky morning, 131 at bedtime last night.

Nice sunny day though cold. So far high is 30°. Tomorrow shows cloudy and then four days with snow. That can always change. Errand run tomorrow for sure.

Wally, I'll be curious to hear how those come out - I was thinking of trying something similar using halved bell peppers.

Colder today with temperatures in the low 30s. No reason to go out today (at least so far) so I'll likely just ditz around the house all day.

84 this morning.  It looks like snow everywhere except for this valley.  Dry and sunny here and it is supposed to start warming up with temps in the low 70s next week.
Tamagno, the egg muffins came out just great.  Pretty easy to do also.  Doing it in a half bell pepper sounds like a great idea and should work quite well.

We have an ice storm warning for tonight and tomorrow and up to 2/10 inch of ice accumulation.  Driving will be hazardous and that's why we're going for groceries today.

In regard to the egg muffins, I've found that they reheat in the microwave very well.  They also keep several days nicely in the refrigerator.  I hope you get to try them Tamagno with the halved bell pepper.  Do let us know how it works for you.

122 this sunny morning, 98 at bedtime last night.

It continues to be cold but clear. Snow in the forecast for the next 9 days. Sure hope that is wrong! It was 3°F this morning at 9AM when I got up. High today was 28°, overnight predicted 18°.

It's good to know those egg muffins reheat well, Grammabear. Somewhere I've got a silicon cupcake pan I should dig out for this one.

Still cold here this morning, but warming and over 50 tomorrow. As always, winter brings badly cracked fingers for which I never can keep lotion on long enough. I may try putting lotion on them quite heavily and then wearing surgical gloves. I'd think it'll be uncomfortable, but would be better than unusable thumbs...

Tamagno - I, too, have cracked skin to the point where I wrap each affected digit with a flexible band aid and prior to the bandaid, I put on a small amount of neosporin.  It is the only thing that seems to help to any degree.  I also use a generous amount of plain old vaseline and work it into my skin prior to going to bed.

98 this morning.  A bit cold for here at 27° at 6:00 AM but it should warm up to around 55° this afternoon.  It is looking like we may see daytime temps of 70-72° next week.  It wouldn't hurt my feelings at all.
Tamagno, I use a muffin pan for the egg mixture, a cupcake size would be too small for me but then you may find it to your liking.  My last batch ended up using 2 eggs/muffin plus the cheese, ham, onion and bell pepper.  Just filled a 6 hole muffin pan.  I think your idea of using a 1/2 bell pepper would work out really good.
I had a dermatologist recommend using a cream rather than a lotion.  I have Psoriasis and really need to keep something on it all of the time.  My present dermatologist likes Aquaphor.  It is close to the Vaseline consistency with some other ingredients.  You can rub it in and your skin will absorb it and not leave a layer of grease on your skin.

130 this partly cloudy morning, 91 at bedtime last night.

Light dusting of snow overnight, but so far today some blue sky but no snow. Temp now is 30°, heading for an overnight of 10° prediction.

Tamagno, cracked thumbs here too. IWhen they get bad I use liquid bandage on them and that helps keep them dry...kind of ocd here with the hand washing.🙂 As far as lotions, I think I've tried them all... I like O'Keeffe's Working Hands, but also use Aquaphor a lot. I apply all the time it feels like. Trick is I wear white cotton gloves on my hands overnight and as much as possible during the day to keep the moisture in and grease off of things.
