98 this morning.  Warming up here as predicted.  We got to 75° yesterday and it is supposed to be 79° today.  No rain in the forecast for the next few days.
Here we use the outdoor BBQ year around and in the hot summer days avoid using the oven in the house.

113 this clear morning, 103 at bedtime last night.

Temps remain the same, low 40's days, low 20's night. The melt is still slow. but it is happening faster than I would like...

Got a cryptic call from the Gastro's office today. The nurse said all my tests were normal. Blood work to see if I had cirrhosis of liver or liver cancer etc. They were all normal, then she says the dr said my liver disease may be caused by my weight or alcohol. Say What??? I am not overweight, 145# 5'4" tall and I don't drink that much alcohol.... What liver disease??? Does he mean my higher liver enzymes? He wants me back in 3-4 months. I think I need to call them again tomorrow, I'm confused.

160 this morning.

Grammabear, most of my summer menus revolve around grilling and a variety of salads I like. Since I know longer can eat leafy salad greens, my salads consist of various diced vegetables usually done up with Asian dressings that lend both heat and sweetness. These keep a number of days in the 'fridge and complements grilled meats of all sorts. I make all my own dressings and marinates according to my own tastes. While a number of spices aren't to everyone's taste, I'd be happy to share them if you're interested.

Mostly, I just want to keep indoor oven and range cooking to a minimum. Have to wait a bit until the necessary produce comes around...

Bigskygal - Maybe your doctor has you confused with someone else.  If you are feeling well and your tests have good results - then indeed maybe he got you mixed up with another patient.  Best wishes to you.

Tamagno - I would be interested in trying something different in the way of spices.  I am trying to be more diligent in watching my A1C because it seems to be creeping up ever so slightly.  So I feel I need to be more aware of possible things that spike my bg.

97 this morning.  Well, tomorrow is the first day of Spring for the northern hemi. and while some of you may not be seeing spring like weather yet, here it is.  Yesterday we were at 77° and should be the same today.  There is a very slight chance of rain tomorrow but I don't expect to see any.  Desert wild flowers are starting to come out and to the South they are already experiencing "Super Blooms" and drawing huge crowds.  We are starting to see blooms here and the butterflies are out by the thousands.  Driving on the highways will leave your windshield covered with yellow bug guts.  It can really be a mess.

135 this morning, 90 at bedtime last night. Slept very poorly last night. It happens maybe once every couple of months and I have no idea why. I just can't get to sleep and as a consequence, the next day I feel like carp!!

So far, no flooding, but I fear it is in the future. One weather app says today's high will be 42° another says 49°.  I'm hoping the 42 is right... overnights still below freezing and the piles of snow are compacting/evaporating just wish they would be gone!!

Well, tomorrow is the first day of Spring for the northern hemi.

In India it is celebrated as Holi, the festival of colours.

52 this morning.

A very disjointed morning today, exacerbated by low glucose and some changes to this site. Well, I'm sure I'll figure things out as I go along and I get glucose up a bit...

119 this morning.

Same here Tamagno.  It is raining on top of already flooding rivers.  I, too, have difficulties with the new version of DP.  I can say right away that the new colour of the font is very hard for me to read.  Gray font on a white background is not my favorite.

98 this morning.  We got just a sprinkle last night, not enough to register on the rain gauge but it did get the concrete wet.
It is going to take a bit of time to get used to the new look.  I also am not fond of the lighter type.  Maybe that could be changed.  It took me a bit of time to navigate to the log in page but that worked OK.  Too bad we had to lose the "likes" and there is now no way to like a post but that is not a big thing.

119 this clear morning, 107 at bedtime last night.

Warming continues but cold at night. Sadly the melting continues and I get closer to having to get sand bags. Checked on the cost of them and it isn't going to be cheap.  :(

Also not a fan of the light type on the white background, hopefully it can be adjusted.

The "Likes" system is very much there. Now it has the Thumbs Up & Thumbs Down icon and not the Background color. I'll change the background or font weight as I get familiar with this setup.
