High this morning - think I'm fighting off something or other but am hoping to have more energy today.

Two things I loathe when it comes to vacuuming, vis, stairs and carpeting. If it were up to me, I'd get rid of both, tile the joint and just wet mop. Also, I'd get rid of about 90% of our furniture. (That was common practice in Italy when I was there and worked just fine.)

112 this morning.

Yesterday we got 2-1/2 inches of snow - YES, this late in the month of April.  :(

We got rid of our carpeting after 40+ yrs and put in hardwood flooring.  Suits us just fine, don't miss the daily vacuuming at all.

102 this morning.  We got up to 91° yesterday and should be the same today but windy.  Tomorrow there is supposed to be a 40% chance of rain and a temp drop to 75° so definitely a front going through.
I agree that stairs are a problem and glad we don't have any here.  I do like the carpet though.  We have ceramic tile in the kitchen and bathrooms and the cordless Shark and a Swifter work great there but I like the carpet in the rest of the house.  I guess that is why I like the heavier duty vacuum.

113 this partly cloudy morning, 99 at bedtime last night.

No snow at my elevation but a lot of new snow on the mountains around me. It is 45° right now and that is the predicted high. I doubt it will get any warmer. Overnight prediction 23°. It has definitely cooled off.

97 this morning.

While we're at it, I'll mention another virtue of Shark vacuums I was reminded of yesterday. The cordless one had gotten completely clogged down by the power head and they thoughtfully engineered it in such fashion that it's a simple matter to remove the brush and clear the passage. Those things happen with every vacuum, so it's nice when it's simple.

133 this morning.

Two days ago we got almost 3 inches of snow, today we are getting rain and lots of it.  I think it is good for the flowers that are budding out.

109 today. Sorry I have been away for some days. My mother was not keeping well so I was shunting between work and her place.

I've been good with my food habits for over 20 days now and yet I have seen only one double digit number in all these days, but thankfully, the 140s are no longer there.

101 this morning.  It's supposed to be cooler today with a chance of scattered thunder storms.  It should pass through today and back to the mid 80s.
Sweety, it looks like you are doing a good job.  Keep up the good work.   ~clp~
Hope your Mom is better.

119 this cool morning, 99 at bedtime last night.

The cooler weather continues, but the sky is clear today. Overnight prediction 27° brrr.

Off in a few minutes for the biopsy. Have to say I am a bit nervous.

93 this morning.  We actually did get some rain yesterday but not much.  Just enough to get the pavement wet and my weather station recorded .01 inch so not exactly a downpour.
Hope your results come out good Barbara.

106 this morning, 107 at bedtime last night.

Procedure went OK. The Dr had to go in about 5 times to find any cells. The Cytologist was in the room too and he looked at each sample for cells. Finally he got some, the Dr didn't want to keep poking me because of the risk of hitting my facial nerve. He said 48 hours for results and maybe I might have to do it again if they didn't get enough. Ugh Apparently they kept getting fluid, hoping that is a good sign if there are not many cells.

My jaw was pretty sore last evening, but is fine today. I haven't taken the bandaid off yet to see what it looks like. The good thing is that I have no more dr appointments until the surgery in June!! Well, unless they repeat the biopsy.

Thanks for the well wishes everyone!
