111 this foggy morning, 90 at bedtime last night.

The fog and hoar frost continue. It's 20°F right now, supposed to get to 29° but doubt it will. Overnight prediction is 14°. Snow still in forecast for Thur, but not Fri any longer.

Making liver, bacon and onions for dinner tonight. Yum!

Yesterday was another of those punk days and I just couldn't get anything done. Gotta be better today!

108 this morning.  Well, we got rain yesterday, just over 1/2 inch and it was a light steady rain all day.  The second storm is due today and it just started sprinkling now.  There are mandatory evacuations in the burn areas from this summers fires and some mudslides have already caused problems.  Snow in the mountains and that is good. 
Tamagno, really hope you feel better.

103 this lightly snowing morning, 101 at bedtime last night.

Again a foggy hoar frost day. Very light snow all morning, didn't amount to much of anything.

Found out I have to totally fast for 8 hours before my MRI on Thursday. Not even water! Don't recall no water for other ones I've had...

When I had the ultrasound for my liver I had to do the same thing.  Total fast without even water. 
Type 2 since 1993.  Control with LCHF diet.

Thanks for the input Wally. The MRI is for my liver so I guess it is a liver thing.  When I had the ultrasound they didn't say no water...odd. They didn't find anything on the ultrasound and I don't expect them to on the MRI. I'll be glad when this is over!

175 this morning.

The water fast seems normal procedure for full thoracic scans, regrettably. Hope it goes well, BigSkyGal!

It's cold here and getting colder through the weekend with ice and snow. Looks like we'll be facing days with highs barely in the teens. I'll be cranking up my second wood stove for those days for sure.

95 this morning.

I had a crown done yesterday and am I ever glad that's over.  Dentist is gentle and personable however it still is a long procedure.  Today my mouth hurts where he gave the injections.  Tomorrow is a better day.

We're forecast to get really bad weather with lots of snow and bitterly cold temperatures after the snow storm.  Good days to stay indoors.

101 this morning.  I have a dentist appointment this morning but it is just for a cleaning. 
We got just a 1/4" of rain yesterday so we are at 1" total for the month so far.  That is quite a bit for here. So far it has been a light and steady rain so no flooding.  The next storm is due here tonight through tomorrow.  That looks like the end of it for a while. 
Type 2 since 1993.  Control with LCHF diet.

The nurse called today to go over the details for the MRI tomorrow. On the online form I filled out I said I was a diabetic. She questioned that as my pcp changed my diabetes dx to hyperglycemia. I told her I was diabetic, but because I control it so well my pcp changed my dx saying I was cured...she laughed and put down not to give me the glycol solution they usually give for this test.

My aunt down home who's been everywhere (currently on a three-week cruise with a stop in Cuba) tells me some of her best dental work was done on the QE2, if anyone's looking for a dentist and an excuse for a cruise...

94 this morning.  It started raining around midnight and is still raining.  Like the last few days it is a light steady ran so no flooding problems here.  Right now we are at about 1 1/2 inches for the month and our annual rainfall is 4.25 inches so this is pretty good for here.  Lots of snow in the mountains and they are all covered with white.  Mammoth Mountain ski area in the Sierras has 90 inches on the upper slopes and is expecting 18 inches today. 
Tamagno, never thought of going on a cruise for dental work.  I wonder if I could get my insurance to pay for it ?   :D
Betty White celebrates her 97th birthday on the 22 of this month.  Her favorite food is a hot dog !  I read that she had a hot dog and French fries every day for lunch. Just goes to show that genes have a lot to do with how you deal with your diet.

130 this snowy morning, 90 at bedtime last night.  Guess I'm not totally surprised at the high fbg, kind of under a lot of stress today...besides the test, I'm not crazy about driving when it is snowing.
