92 this morning.

Tamagno - I had heard that statistic about a low hypo number from Gary Scheinlin also.  My copy of Pumping Insulin is the 6th edition and it is in a sort of loose leaf binder - much easier for me to read a few pages when I have time.

I'm spending time (4 hrs) mowing lawn helping my DH.  It always looks so nice when we're finished.  Just hope the mosquitoes don't make a feast out of me again.

89 this morning.  Cooler again yesterday with a high of 89°, which interestingly enough is the same as my fasting # so that is not a typo.   :D
It still looks like we will have temps over 100° next week.
Type 2 since 1993.  Control with LCHF diet.

106 this cloudy morning, 104 at bedtime last night.

Some showers overnight and a few sprinkles today, probably more showers to come. It is 60° right now and that looks like it will be the high for the day.

T-2 dx 2/2012 FBG 243 A1c 9.5%   A1c 6/12  5.7%.  A1c 4% 7/13 to 12/16.
12-16  5.1%.  6/18 5.3%.  6/19  5.7%.  6/20 5.7%.  7/21 5.2%.  8/22 5.5%. 7/23 6%. 7/24 6.8%.
Off meds 3/15, diet controlled.  Minimal exercise.

75 this morning.

I learned from my GPs office yesterday that I have to start a round of 3+ injections of AB because the bacteria this time around from my UTI is different.  My current AB is not strong enough to wipe it out.  This is turning out to be a not so good summer.

122 this partly cloudy morning, 112 at bedtime last night.

Getting a little nervous about the surgery this coming Wed. I have to go up to the hospital tomorrow to get pre-surgery bloodwork done. I wanted to do my blood draw for my yearly pcp check up but it is too soon for medicare to cover it. The ole one year and one day rule.

106 this morning.

My back is definitely, if slowly, improving. A great relief!

Grilled porterhouse steaks for my wife and guests last night, while I had Hebrew National hot dogs split and covered with barbecue sauce. Can't speak for the steak, but the hot dogs were great with plenty leftover.

103 this morning.  It's going to be a bit warmer this week with a high of 99° predicted for today and then over 100° for the rest of the week. 
Did a Tri-tip on the Traeger BBQ yesterday.  Left off the rub and any seasoning and got the real benefit of the wood smoke flavor, really good !
Barbara, I don't think you have anything to worry about.  When I had the surgery done I went home the same day, I did have to have someone to drive me, they won't let you drive yourself, but it really wasn't that bad.

Really am getting rattled about the surgery. I was half way to the hospital to get the bloodwork done and I realized I forgot to do my fasting test! Sheesh!

105 at bedtime last night.

I will be in the hospital overnight. The orders say 23 hour stay. Thanks for the well wishes! I will sure be glad when this is over!

In some ways, Barbara, the overnight in hospital is the worst part along with all the prep and post surgery stuff. The procedure itself is quick and you'll be done with it before you even know it. Nevertheless, I'm adding my prayers...

101 this morning.  We didn't quite get to the 99° predicted for yesterday but the 97° we hit was close enough.  It is supposed to get to 104° today so we will see how close we get to that.
Barbara, hoping that your surgery goes well and the recovery is quick.
