Thanks Wally, in my heart of hearts, I knew it was benign, but my stupid Onc tried to scare me and I will never forgive him for that.

72 this morning.

That's great news, BigSkyGal! Funny how you can tell when one of these nodes/cysts is cancerous or not. I guess oncologists err on the side of caution.

94 this morning.

Such a sunny morning today and the birds are flocking to the feeder and the bird bath.  Maybe today is bathing day for them as it has been raining for several days in a row.  Funny how they don't want to share the bird bath with other birds.

104 this thunder cloud morning, 100 at bedtime last night.

Thanks everyone! I did sleep a lot better last night.  :)

Big thunderhead clouds in the sky this morning. Kind of a clammy day. High 79°. Looks like a cooling trend is on the way. Works for me!

109 this morning.  We are supposed to get to 106° today and I believe it.  At 5:00 AM we were at 79°.  No rain here but maybe some wind.  I saw this headline on the Weather Channel :  Water Crisis in India's Chennai as Reservoirs Dry Out
The start of the monsoons is late and this city in India is out of water.  I hope SKB is OK.
Missing Tamagno this morning.  Hope he is OK

101 this very windy morning, 98 at bedtime last night.

It is 68° right now heading for a high of 71°. Still windy.

Off in a bit to get my stitches out. My ear and part of my cheek right next to it are still a bit numb. I suppose that will clear up in time.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure it will.  When I had mine done my cheek was numb for a while but it went away.  Another weird thing I had was that when I chewed food I would sweat on that cheek.  It is a saliva gland and I guess the nerves got confused but that eventually went away but it took a couple of years.

Yeah, I have to remember I am only a week out from surgery. The numbness did help in that the stitch removal didn't hurt a bit! It is really healing well according to the PA and probably will be no visible scar. I had 15 + stitches amazingly delicate considering my dr is well over 6' and has huge hands!

I think you told me about the sweating Wally, hopefully it won't be an issue. I think I read somewhere that people put deodorant on their cheek. Yuk. not going there!

Thankfully I'm not in Chennai. But water is going to be a major problem for the developing world in the near future and India is no exception. We are facing a surface and ground water scarcity and hope that the rain Gods are helpful. I had posted a couple of times that I have to be awake at night to start booster pumps as the water supply to our area has been curtailed very badly.
