109 this morning.

I see yet another specialist this Friday to try and determine why I keep having these UTIs.  Hope he might have something that will work for me.  Never had this problem when I was younger.

107 this morning.  I had Zoodles with my home made sauce last night and kind of ate more than I really needed but....... it was good !
Even a bit cooler yesterday with a high of 96° and it looks like we will be under 100° for at least the rest of the month.
Barbara, when my test results showed higher than normal liver enzymes my PCP had me take it up with my Gastro. and he had me have an abdominal ultrasound and with those results he was convinced that there was nothing to worry about.  I'm not sure why the test shows an elevated number for the liver enzymes but later tests have been in the normal range so maybe the test sometimes shows a false positive.
Grammabear, I hope the specialist is able to provide you with an answer.  Having UTIs recurring is not something you want to have to deal with.

110 this cloudy morning, 120 at bedtime last night.

The Gastro was pleased that my enzymes were much lower, but he ordered a special ultrasound that will show if there is any scarring on my liver. We scheduled it for the same day I see the Onc, 7/19 (not 8/19 as I posted yesterday). At least it means only one trip up to town. He also said he only needs to see me again in a year to see how things are going. I guess that is if nothing shows up in the ultrasound.

Grammabear, I hope you can get some answers and relief from the new dr.

Weather continues to be cool. Had some rain overnight, might have some thunderstorms or rain during the day today.

74 this morning.

The "muggies" have settled in here.  It did cool off only a little bit last night.  I think we're going to have to install the A/C units this weekend as it is supposed to be even hotter and more humid.

103 this mostly blue sky morning, 130 at bedtime last night.

I think I have gotten rid of the skunks! I haven't seen them in 4 days now. I googled how to get rid of skunks and there were 3 ways that sounded good. I went with the most natural and safe one. One was spread out mothballs or spray ammonia, but the third was spread citrus peelings around the den. I did that on Monday morning, and again on Tuesday morning and I haven't seen a skunk since Monday. I have to admit a few sections of orange did fall in my mouth.  ;D

130 this morning.

Never heard of spreading citrus peelings around a skunk den, but hey if it works that is all that matters.  Hope they stay 'gone'.  The orange pieces that accidentally fell into your mouth I bet were delicious.  :)

99 this morning.  Cooler yesterday at 93° for a high and much cooler this morning at 65°.  Still, the prediction today for a high is 99° so we will see how that works out.
I never heard of citrus peelings being a skunk deterrent either but it is amazing sometimes what you can learn from Google.  Hope they stay away.
Tamagno is MIA again today, hope he is OK.

113 this cloudy morning, 106 at bedtime last night.

Weather continues to be cool. Had a quick thunderstorm pass through yesterday evening.

The skunks are still gone. Yay! Who would have thought citrus peelings would repel them? And yes, Grammabear, those orange sections were delicious! Hadn't had oranges since dx in 2012.

I noticed Tamagno was missing yesterday too. I really hope he is OK.

99 this morning.

My visit with the Ob/Gyn doctor went well.  He did the usual yearly tests since it had been some time since they were done.  He is semi retired and does not see that many patients a day, but he actually listened to me and didn't spend the entire time seated at his computer clacking away while I was talking.  I hope to continue with him.  I will get test results sometime next week.

We're all missing Tamagno.  Hope he is ok?

85 this morning.  Still on the cool side for here with a high yesterday of 95° and a cool 66° at 6:00 AM.  Looks like the same today.  Grammabear, glad you had a good doctors visit.  It really makes a difference when a doctor takes the time to listen to you.  It gives you confidence that the doctor is really interested in you as a real person.
This is the third day Tamagno hasn't checked in.  Not a normal thing so hope it is something easily resolved.

Here I am.

I'm currently in hospital.

So far, they've removed a liter of fluid from my lungs and determined I'm back in a-fib. So, they're looking for malignancy in my lungs and started me on drugs for a-fib. Ought to be out of here by Monday...

My Accu-chek Multiclix lancet finally gave up the ghost this morning. :( I really liked it too! But it is 7 years old. I went to the local drugstore and of course they didn't have one and worse yet they said it has been discontinued! I have boxes of the drums. Fortunately I found one on Amazon!! Yay!

Barbara - I have a Multiclix lancet device, but no drums.  If you would like mine to have as a 'spare' you are welcome to it.  Send me a PM if you are interested - no charge.
