121 this mostly sunny morning, 112 at bedtime last night.

Hope you are feeling better Tamagno.

Shanny, so good to hear from you! I was also a quiet child and have circled back to being a quiet "hermit" in my old age.

Ditto the quiet child affair. I learned to overcome out of professional necessity, but now that I'm retired limit my verbiage almost entirely to here and some few e-mails where words can be chosen carefully and responses given thought.

Whatever the reason, Shanny, you've been greatly missed and hopefully are back to stay and well!

Lately we've taken to quiet times without the television or computer being on.

There is a super cold spell predicted  for this Wednesday with lows of -25 deg F (-31.6 C).  This will be a weather "record" if it is as predicted.

93 this morning.  Well, 71° here yesterday and it should be the same today.  Now the prediction is for an 80% chance of rain Thursday and Saturday up from 40%.  This is good for here but these storms head East and cause the winter storms the Midwest and East get.  Another named storm Jayden is going to cause problems for those areas.

We must have weather people that are 'asleep' on the job because we never hear about the winter storms having a name.  I know what I would call the storms that dump 6 inches of the white stuff and it wouldn't be a "nice" name.   :-X

Another sunny day, temp only got to 32°F, overnight predicted 13°. We seem to have dodged the very cold weather so far...

179 this morning.

I guess we don't have named winter storms either. In the spirit of community service, I'll name the next one myself; Clarabelle, I think...

We're going for a record low tonight or at least that is what is predicted.  They even have a "wind chill warning" out because the predicted wind chill is -50+.   ???

91 this morning.  I get my forecast from the Weather Channel website because they seem to be the most accurate for this area.  Maybe they are the ones responsible for naming the storms.  Right now the "Polar Vortex" is going to be responsible for very low temps which some of you are already seeing.  I saw an item saying that 85% of the lower 48 will see below freezing and 75% will see below zero.  The West coast is not part of that, here it was 46° at 6 AM.  Still looking at an 80 % chance of rain Thursday.

Another beautiful sunny day, really helping me feel better. High 31°F overnight predicted 14°.

The gastroenterologist's office called today. My appointment is Feb 28, guess no one there is very worried...

Tamagno

High this morning.

I guess it's the cold or some such, but I'm completely unmotivated to do much of anything. I'd love to get out of here for a couple of weeks, but see no way that's happening. Seems like a good time to try doing something just completely different...

94 this morning.  The weather forecast keeps changing daily so our chance of rain tomorrow is somewhere from 50% to 90% so I guess it's best to say it might rain tomorrow.  Nothing like the cold the Mid-west is seeing right now and actually nothing like most of the country is seeing.
Tamagno, I wouldn't feel like doing much of anything either.  It might be nice to visit a warmer climate but travel right now doesn't seem like a good idea.
Barbara, that does sound like good news.

122 this partly cloudy morning, 104 at bedtime last night. Higher than I like, but it is what it is...

Yeah, one would think if there was something really wrong with me, they'd get me in sooner than the end of Feb!
