Still drizzling a bit here. I've never been to 1oC or near about. I can't tolerate the cold very well.

Mine is reverse. I can't bear the heat. Just love the cold, and travel a lot to the cold places.
AJ still a bit about the 3 digits, but not very much. 112 today

166 this morning.

Thanks for the bone broth ideas. Sounds good.

Cold? Not for me - of course, I don't live someplace where the winters are as awful as, say, Iceland.

Still, this winter will be interesting, as I won't have to go out in it much.

104 (5.76) this morning.  I checked my diary back when I had my last cortisone injections in March and it took about a month before my bg normalized so I will probably have another two weeks or so before fasting comes down.
Warmer this morning at 45° (7.2C).  Our high yesterday was 67° (19.4°C) which is not bad but windy and wind advisory today also.  Temp is supposed stay the same for the rest of the week and warming up by the weekend.
It's a lot easier to deal with cold and high heat after you are retired, you can stay inside.   :D
I worked outside for a lot of years and we had extremes on both ends, high temp around 110° + (43°C) and winter lows often around 10° (-12°C) so it took an adjustment but I actually prefer the warmer weather.
Thanks for the reminder Barb, roasting the bones first is considered a vital first step by many recipes I read and I think it was a step I left out.   ~fno~

78 (4.32) this rainy morning, 74 (4.1) at bedtime last night.

It has been raining all day and doesn't look like it is going to stop any time soon.

I don't do well in the heat, I much prefer the colder weather.

125 again today morning.
The rain is hanging on here as well. Seasonally, it's time for the withdrawal of the monsoon but the parting kick has been a long one.

Roasting raw bones is pretty important - it will improve the flavor as well as color of your bone broth. If you're using cooked bones from steaks or roasts previously prepared/served, it still doesn't hurt to roast them some more if you like. I wish I had better access to marrow bones - they make great broth.

246 this morning.

The lovely and gracious Mrs. Tamagno is on a campaign to fatten me up so I think my carb counting is likely off, hence this morning's high FBG. (I think).

133 this morning, infusion site not working well.  :(

Tamagno - too bad there isn't such a thing as "donating" weight because I could gladly give you a few pounds.  :)  What does Mrs. Tamagno like to prepare for you to eat?

124 today morning. For the past 2 days, I've been taking Cital a syrup for a UTI irritation. The syrup has a sweet base so I expect to hang on in the 120s till then.
