Temps hovering in low 50's durning the day and low 40's at night.

Tamagno, glad to hear the news that your cancer has not metastasized!  I'll keep you in my prayers as you go through treatment.

Best news I've heard in ages, Tamagno! I hate that you have to endure the treatment, but so happy it hasn't metastasized.

Comedian, now that is really 'boring'.  ;D

Tamagno that is good news indeed. We wish you a smooth treatment and fast recovery.

161 this morning.

Thank you all so much! I'm sure I'll be fine.

SKB, you know that BMI is a totally Boy Scout (the initials) number. At dx, I weighed 195 lbs., but having been a serious amateur body builder for years, I was all muscle with only a 32" waist - my medical records still show the primitive high BMI number and now everyone thinks I was overweight. I could've picked up that pencil-neck little shrimp of an MD with my left arm...

Agreed. I've also maintained that it's a 2 dimensional number which has no meaning, more so in your case, as a body builder.

126 this morning.  I was weak in a moment of temptation at the beauty shop yesterday.  The hairdresser always brings some kind of treats for her customers.  Yesterday's treats were pecan bars.  The piece she gave me was small but mighty in the way of carbs.  It was delicious and my favorite flavor.  Back to low carb today.  :)

103 (5.71) this morning.  Not under 100 but, ..........lets see, oh, under 6.0 mmol/l !   :D
I know, it's pretty much the same, just a mental limit we would like to stay below.
@Tamagno and SKB, I agree, BMI is a very crude and often useless scale but Doctors want something they can put a number on and that takes all of the objectiveness out of any diagnosis.  It's another case of everyone being put into a convenient slot.

98 this morning.  We mowed our lawn yesterday and it was cold enough, for me at least, to wear a hat, sweatshirt and gloves while riding the mower.  Something about mowing for the last time of the season that is gratifying.

99 (5.48) this morning.  It's been windy, yesterday 25MPH with gusts 30-35MPH and on the cool side.  There is a 20% chance of rain today and tonight so who knows ?

Tamagno

141 this morning.

Wally, I'm sure I've been put in lots of different numbered slots. Also, I'm quite sure my number is 4:

- My name "Tamagno" has 7 letters; the word "seven" has 5 letters and the word "five" has 4.

- My zip code is 06776 which numbers added together equals 26 which numbers added equals 8; the word "eight" has 5 letters and the word "five" has 4.

- I'm a diabetic. The word "diabetic" has 8 letters; the word "eight" has 5 and the word "five" has 4.

- My glucose this morning was 141 which numbers added together equals 6; the word "six" has 3 letters; the word "three" has 5 and the word "five" has 4.

- My dog's name is Sam. The name "Sam" has 3 letters; the word "three" has 5 and the word "five" has 4.

Thereby proving conclusively using maths that my number is 4 and that I may well have too much time on my hands...
