105 today. Thought I will be slipping below the 100 mark. I guess I will have to wait for another day.
My life is based on a true story.

137 this morning.

Grammabear, I don't know what insulin you use, but my insurance company recently insisted I switch from humalog to novolog. I'm not sure exactly why, but I think I'm getting better results. Might be worth looking into.

139 this morning.

John - I use Novolog insulin.  My insurance did the same thing, stopped wanting to cover Novolog and instead insisted I use Humalog.  However I used Humalog while on the Pod and didn't have such good luck with it.  Since I've already 'tried' it, my Doctor applied for an override, and the insurance will cover Novolog (at least for now-and who knows how long that will last).

106 (5.87) this morning.  A cold front is coming through tonight after Midnight and temps are expected to drop about 20° from today.  A slight chance of some sprinkles but don't expect much, if anything.  Maybe a better chance of some rain this weekend.

94 this morning.  I was shocked since yesterday I drank the last Boost my doctor ordered w/ 33 carbs.  But they are all gone now.

100 this morning  ;D
Just missed the bus.

117 this morning.

Bigskygal, if it's any consolation, we also lost power last night. Usually it's just a few minutes, but you're never sure, of course.

When it's out, I make my wife play poker with me - she hates games ordinarily.

Grammabear, I prefer novolog also - my body seems to respond quicker to it.

104 (5.76) this morning.  Interesting that fasting #s have been running a bit higher for my normal but then later in the day my bg comes down to 75-85. I assume my liver is trying to help.   :)
A cold front is passing through today and we are expecting high winds later which will make my drive more of a chore.  I am off to see an Endo to try and pin down what the cause of my problem with electrolytes being so out of whack.  The Hospital seems to have pretty much eliminated my Para Thyroid as a cause but my Primary is not so sure and wants the opinion of an Endo so off I go.  Friday I am scheduled for a PET Scan to see if there is any cancer which can also be a cause.  Just hoping to find a cause so it can be corrected.  Right now just taking supplements and blood tests to try and keep things balanced.

@Wally - just for what it is worth, a year ago I also had electrolyte problems.  The cause of mine turned out to be one of two diuretic medications I was taking.  The nephrologist removed that medication and my levels have been acceptable since then.

@John - do you let your wife win at poker when she has to play that game with you?
