79 (4.38) this rainy morning, 80 (4.43) at bedtime last night.

It has been raining steadily all morning and is supposed to all day long. It is a good 25° cooler today may be the perfect day to use the oven!!  :)

101 (5.60) this morning.  A bit surprised, 85 at 2 hours after dinner last night.  Warmer yesterday, 75° (23.9°C)  and should be a bit warmer today.  Clear and bright.  Off in a bit to have the doctor look at trigger finger on my left middle finger.  It has gotten progressively worse.  About 6 years ago I had trigger finger of my thumb and a cortisone shot fixed it and it has never come back so I hope this can be the same.

84 (4.65) this overcast morning, 83 (4.6) at bedtime last night.

Wally, I have a trigger finger right hand middle finger.  I got the shot about 4 years ago and no problems since.  This morning before I got up, I noticed it slightly locking again.  Once up and about no issues but may be down the road.

I got the cortisone injection and it appears to have worked, at least for now.  My Orthopedic doctor that I saw said that the middle finger and the thumb are the most common for trigger finger, well now I have had one of each.  Funny, the doctor had me make a fist and wham, it locked up tight and he was pulling on it to open it up and I was going AAAARRRRG, but it unlocked and he said the two alternatives were a cortisone injection or surgery.  I took the injection, not real happy about surgery but then maybe some day.

Talking of trigger fingers makes me remember my active competitive shooting days. Somewhere at the back of my mind is a hidden reminder to take up the sport again, even if for recreation.

115 today morning. It's getting sultry, which means that rains are somewhere around the corner. But right now it's just  ~sny~  ~sny~

We had a muggy day, but thankfully no rain. Our mower man came & brought all his tools as well as his mower . . . said if it did rain, he'd work on a few other chores we had for him. Turns out he did all the mowing and then came in & installed an under-counter light I've been needing, lowered my spice cabinet about six inches closer to the countertop so I could reach the top shelves (I know I could reach those shelves 30 years ago - so now I'm shrinking?!  :o ), and even installed a new toilet seat for us! This guy is a jewel, and he drives 25-30 miles just to get here! He and BH even made a deal that he'll replace our old rotting tie wall so the bank behind the house doesn't continue sliding into our shop building! Very productive day with a little help from our friends! And his assistant even apologized for mowing off our day lilies last month  . . . I said hey - ya can't kill those things - ours may be specific cultivars, but the ones called tiger lilies grow wild in the ditches along the roadways out here.

No more 2 digit morning numbers, but they do stay between 105-115 most times. The LCHF diet really helps, and the switch in medicines has created this little jump, but thankfully the lows have gone. Those were scary, false or not, they really were.

I don't have a single reading over 100 in the mornings. Once I checked after dinner at 2 hours and I was 145. I've ordered a box of 100 strips as I'm running out of them.

96 (5.3) this morning.  We got up to 79° (26°C) yesterday and probably a bit higher today.  Quite nice and I like it but then we are dry here, humidity runs around 20% most of the time.

98 yesterday and 86 today.  Love it when I get one of those low numbers!

I could take a lotta that & I remember it from all our years in Colorado. Our humidity is hanging in about 80% here today, and 86° temperature makes it muggy as all get-out.  :(
