83 (4.6) this partly cloudy morning, 87 (4.82) at bedtime last night.

Another boonie dweller here too!  There is a constant din of all sorts of birds chirping all day long.  The noisiest are the pheasants!!  I have at least 2 roosters and 4 hens and when they get going it is loud.  The only time everyone quiets down is when an eagle or hawk is hunting nearby.  Just not a city person at all!

170 this morning.  Going to scour the thrift shops this weekend and see if I can find Dr. Atkins' book.

A 130 this morning. And I thought I was well controlled the past two days. Now my liver reminds me to not think too much with my 'other' brain.

Happy to report a 99 for today. Somehow the two digit number gives more happiness than a 100.

94 (5.21) this morning.  Stuffy head and all snotty tis morning so I am surprised it's not higher, well, not to complain.  Cooler and windy today and tomorrow and not warming back up until next week.  Bright and sunny though so really not bad.

150 this morning!!! A new low! That Diet Dr site is amazing!  I just wish one didn't have to pay for a lot of the content.

Shanny

It wasn't always that way - when we first found Dr. Eenfeldt, it was a totally free site. Then he got mixed up with some characters like Jason Fung - the intermittent fasting guy who seems to have a cure for everything - and others who insist diabetes can be 'cured' with LCHF. So the message has gotten a bit muddied in recent times, but DietDoctor's directions on how to do LCHF are still good. I hope he doesn't decide to charge for those.

skb

Very true Shanny. Wish there was a way to give you more "likes" for your post. We stopped recommending diet doctor site a year ago for the very reasons given by you.

Yes, I was saddened by the changes at the Diet Dr site too.  His lc/hf info is stellar and I also hope that remains free. I think since he quit his medical practice he needed to have some income coming in.

I guess I hadn't heard that he left his practice. That's a shame.  :(
