AJ (my partner) was at 112 today. I think it is going to take more time for numbers to normalise.  :(

199 this morning.

Finally heard back from my neurologist yesterday who's ordering a port installed for IVs (a small in-hospital procedure), another more complete swallowing test (food often gets stuck in my pharynx or above my soft palate) and a new pain med.

No more blown veins from IVs! Hopefully, swallowing gets fixed and some relief from pain! One of those wonderful times when things are actually getting done!

Starting this afternoon we'll be seeing temperatures in the mid-80s. Looks as though summer has suddenly arrived.

95 (5.26) this morning.  No rain overnight but all weather services claim rain likely this afternoon so we will see.  Starting to warm up here though so it should be a nice Memorial Day weekend.
@Tamagno, I sure hope that you get some relief with the changes.

80 (4.43) this partly cloudy morning, 84 (4.65) at bedtime last night.

Glad to hear you are getting the port, that will make the IV transfusions so much easier.  Hope you get relief on the other issues too.

This is good news, John. The port will make things SO much easier. One or more of your docs must be rattling some cages!  ;)

97 an 102 for yesterday and today. Sorry, I couldn't post yesterday. Busy day.
Diabetic ?

179 this morning.

Hmm, Shanny, docs rattling cages - an interesting image. Naturally, I prefer, in my own prideful way, to think that it's the application of my "charm" that got things rolling...

A lovely 85, but discovered today that while I was in rehab I was being dosed with a strong anti-depressant.  I wondered why I slept so well and people remarked to me how well I was taking things so easily.  Gotta talk to my doctor about this...maybe I need to continue the drug?  Furious about it tho' as they never told me about it.  Wonder if they do it to everyone?

Shanny

That IS unnerving! Somebody better have some answers, eh?

BH is on strong antidepressants and I take a milder one myself. It does help. I started stressing a bit about DD's visit this week, but after getting my pills down yesterday, everything seemed better. I normally take half the dose prescribed, but I figure this week I should be on the full dose! heheh . . .   ;)

BTW, we're only up to 78° today, but the flippin' humidity is 85% and our a/c isn't doing much to lower that in the house. I shudder to think what it is outside.

85 (4.71) this mostly cloudy morning and 85 at bedtime last night too.

Wow Pat that is disturbing.  My guess, a lot of the patients are being so dosed. But it is wrong to do it w/out telling the patient.  Maybe a low dose one would help you, but you should be in on what it is.

I took Welbutrin for years after my DH passed.  After a couple of years on lc/hf/keto, I noticed I was feeling so good that with dr's OK, I cut my dose gradually and then stopped altogether a couple years ago. Still feeling fine.
