99 (5.5) this morning.  We did get a little rain last night, .08" on my rain gauge, but today is supposed to be a better chance.  Hope to get something worth while from this storm.  It's warm though, 75° for a high yesterday and 50° for an overnight low.

For some unknown reason I had a 110 this morning.  I did eat late.  And slept later than I usually do, so maybe it's just that.  I know I ate well, so it's the vagaries of D, maybe?

87 (4.8) this morning.  A nice surprise after running high for the last few days.  We are up to 1/4" of rain so far, not a downpour but at least wet.  Should be getting more the next 3 days so hope springs eternal.

76 (4.2) this lovely morning, 70 (3.88) at bedtime last night.

Allergies are killing me today!  :(  But the good news is I should have my taxes ready to go to the preparer later today!!  ;D

I think we're twins separated at birth, GrammaB! I dropped the taxes off yesterday, and I'm just about around the bend with these cussed allergies!

I'm pretty sure all the allergic drainage down my throat is what's got my digestion in an uproar. I feel like crap & all I wanna do is sleep.  :(

I was a 93 this morning, but am getting out of the house to a charity auction tonight and may end up eating things I shouldn't eat if there are no good choices.

Oh, well...

You may well be right!! I finished everything about an hour ago, but feel so punk I don't want to drive to drop it off.  I'll go tomorrow in the hopes I'll be feeling better.  Yah with you on the upset tummy and just wanting to go to bed.  Nothing sounds good to eat, may just have some broth for dinner.  I took a generic claritin this morning and my ears are still totally plugged up!  And this danged breeze is not helping at all!

225 this morning.

High fasting glucose is signaling the likelihood of yet another UTI - don't mind so much but I don't want the wee beasties growing resistant nor do I want another week of IV antibiotic down at the hospital.

My eyes are healing from cataract surgeries and I'm loving it! I didn't realize how much brighter colors would be. My new lenses are tuned for distance so I've got to use drug store magnifying glasses, but that's nothing.

Isn't it terrific when medical interventions actually work well?

Oh Tamagno . . . you shouldn't have gotten me started on cataract surgery!  ;D ;D ;D

I haven't had very many medical procedures that changed my life as much as cararact surgery! It's just amazing - especially the time between having each eye done which was when I realized what dingy yellow/brown tint the cataracts had been adding to everything I saw. Once both eyes were done and my vision showed all the wonderful bright colors, it was just miraculous to me!

I too need the drugstore readers for really close work, but I can use the computer without them. And now that BH has had his done, and neither of us needs regular glasses, it's just wonderful - we even use the same strength readers, so when we're out & about & one of us forgets, the other has a pair stashed in a pocket.  ;)

I'd worn glasses since I was six years old, and they were thick heavy ones. They were hot, they were always dirty, and always steamed up in humid conditions. I hated them! Plus once I needed bifocals and later trifocals, they were expensive - like $500 expensive! I'm just so thankful for this quick easy painless surgery!

103 (5.7) this morning.  Can't seem to get away from up and down but oh well.  We got .20" of rain total yesterday so not much but we should get more today and tomorrow.
I will agree about the cataract surgery.  I had mine done 9 years ago and the first thing I noticed was the brilliant colors.  You just don't realize how much you have lost with the cataracts because it happens over a long time but the sudden clarity after the new lenses is amazing.  It's normal to need reading glasses after getting the new lenses but my distance vision is 20/20 and hasn't changed since the operation.

I ate badly a bit last night.  Not a sin but a transgression?  The evening was fun and hopefully a good one for the organization having it.  Ah, well, good to be outta the house and at a worthy event.  Seeing people was super!

123 was the result.

Mine was 20/20 for distance also, until I had a retinal detachment in my left eye about eight months after the cataract surgery. That was a little more delicate surgery, but they still managed to bring that eye back to 20/30. Whew - close call!

92 (5.09) this hazy morning, 89 (4.9) at bedtime last night.

Yesterday was a miserable day for allergies.  Today is a bit better but still feel stuffed up and nauseous. No appetite, and what I do eat, I can't taste.  But on the good side, I dropped my taxes off at the preparer around noon and they should be ready in a couple of days.  Already 4 months into this year and I swear I will get everything entered month by month this year......yeah, I always say that....
