133 this morning, at least going in the right direction!

I'm at 111 this morning and was 89 pre dinner last night. Switched meters. This one is much more closer to the actual numbers.

225 this morning.

Thanks all, for the SSI info. As I suspected, my phone call to the government resulted in misinformation. I've an appointment with my accountant next week to sort things out. I expect I'll be waiting until I turn 66 in December.

Oh well. More time and expense figuring this and Medicare out...

94 (5.21) this morning.  Wow, our high temp was 92° which was down from the 97° the day before.  No complaints here, it should be about the same for the rest of the week.
@Tamagno, It shouldn't be any surprise, but there is no reason for it to be so hard to get the information you need to make a proper decision, and yet it is.

124 (6.8) after a extended low of 57 (3.1) last night at 2 a.m.....that I did not hear.    :(

@Tamagno - Medicare is a "maze" and one that can be challenging at times.

72.

The wonderful fog continues along with mild summer weather (mid 70's).

Hugs to Grammabear-

Tamagno, I deal with the IRS and the State of California on a regular basis - it can be so frustrating when, as Wally says, it really shouldn't be.

Barb, sounds like a trip to the Bay Area is in your future!

82 (4.54) this hazy morning, 84 (4.65) at bedtime last night.

Kris, yes most definitely. Just don't know when yet.  :)

Fire is now at 7927 acres burned (about 11 square miles), 15% contained.  Still at 14 homes gone and one dead, so that is good I guess.  Predicted dry thunderstorms and lightening tonight into Saturday which is not good.  They say there may be a few moments of heavy down pours but sadly not enough to really make a difference in the fire.

I'm under the weather today. The bad throat finally gave way to cold & congestion, but my BG behaved pretty well at 108.

128 this morning!  New low!  But I was 143 2 hrs after dinner last night so still not completely there yet.

Thought I was going on travel today but it was put off until Monday. I worry as I don't always have the best choices available to eat. And don't always have online access.

Hope you feel better soon skb.

148 this morning.

Yes, SKB, do feel better!

I've travel plans myself today. Sam and I will venture out, open the gates for the visiting nurse (IVIG starts this morning) and hike the remaining 140 steps down the road to the mailbox.

This trip is fraught with peril (SSI tells me I need a passport) as I may run into the guy who lives out there and who is such a weisenheimer. Always making jokes about my hill-billy heritage in West Virginia ("So, I heard you met your wife at a family reunion?")

Of course, Yankee rednecks are no better, so when I ask him how many dogs he's got living under his front porch, he'll actually turn and look.

At least if everything goes to h--l and the SHTF, I'm the one with actual experience making a still...

102 (5.65) this morning.  Had guests over last night and got a little carried away with dinner but not that bad.

81 (4.49) this partly cloudy morning, 91 (5.04) at bedtime last night.

The fire is at 8,249 acres now and 20% contained.  Yesterday they found 2 more homes that burned the first day.  It isn't traveling my way and the wind is taking the smoke South so that is good.  No sign of the thunder storms yet, maybe they fizzled out. Hope so!
