79 (4.38)  this mostly clear morning, 80 (4.43) at bedtime last night.

Had a huge thunderstorm pass through last night.  Lightning, and 1/2 inch sized hail. It was scary, but it passed quickly.

@rocky, don't get upset about such small difference like 98 to 102.  There will always be fluctuations no matter how well your control is.  Personally I don't place a lot of importance in fasting blood sugar.  What matters is your control the rest of the day.  As long as you are able to maintain an overall bg under the danger level you are doing great.  It's usually considered that 140 is below the point where organ damage starts and many people like to keep it under 120 if possible.  That's why testing after meals and during the day is important.  I find fasting bg gives me information that's useful, if I made bad choices the day before or that maybe something like an infection or sickness in there.  It is kind of an early warning device.

You are doing great and your numbers look good.  It's not a contest, just keep doing what you are doing.

114 today morning. My morning number is probably the highest of the day, barring for a little while after my daily workout. After breakfast I keep sliding downwards till about before dinner, when I hit my lowest.

I found myself at 119 today. I slept in a little late & had some SF strawberry cheesecake after dinner. Both of these are capable of pushing me that extra few points.

85 and up early this morning.

I'm still smarting from a very unsatisfactory doctor's appointment yesterday.  I love my regular doc but since she prescribed insulin, she had to refer me to a specialist.  I made the mistake of mentioning ketosis and LCHF.

Cue the lecture on how my body needs carbs and I should be eating 30-40g a meal, ketosis is dangerous, blah blah blah.

Needless to say, I won't be back to see that guy.
