Another thunderstorm rolled through late yesterday afternoon this one came with pea sized hail for about 5-10 minutes and then it was gone.  Same thing looks to be on the agenda for this afternoon.

Fire now 50% contained with no new acreage burned overnight.  They still say 100% containment by end of Sep.

I'm off to see my neurologist this morning. He's a nice boy and very knowledgable, so I'm hoping for some fresh insights as some new ugliness has cropped up lately. I'm going to ask him about seeing a physical therapist to see if I might regain some strength and improved walking.

101 for me this morning.  The high humidity continues here.  Pretty annoying when you get out of the air conditioned car and your eyeglasses fog over because of the humidity in the air.

94 (5.21) this morning.  Looks like out temps are going to be rising this weekend from around 90° (32.2°C) to the high 90's for all next week.  Still not bad for August but also a noticeable rise.

By the time I finally woke up, was 61.  A bit too low for my liking.  The thing is, I was 180 the afternoon before - switched to a new batch of insulin and I think that was the trick.

It has been pleasantly cooler the last few days.  It is only 65°F (18.33°C) and I'm liking it just fine!!

I was at 97. Tried to make time for a walk but I couldn't. This weekend I will surely find the time.

The neurologist went okay. He wasn't thrilled to hear about my new breathing troubles and is having me wear a breathing monitor to check on it. Also going for physical/occupational therapy in hopes of improving things plus adding another infusion drug, rituxumab. Hopefully, I'll see good results!

Naturally, I asked about his daughters both of whom have dumped their loser boyfriends in favor of more suitable suitors. I figured you all would want to know...
